When the race started, all the animals jumped into the river. All the animal tried their best to swim across the river. However, the cat and the rat were not good swimmers. So they asked the ox for help. The ox was very generous. He agreed to let a cat and a rat to ide on its back during the race. Out of a sudden, the rat pushed the cat into the river. The rat do that because he wanted to win but he realised that the cat would beat him because the cat could run faster. After that the rat sat next to the ox's ear throughout the course of the race.
