On the first day of Chinese New Year, every people will wish the older people with auspicious greetings. For example Gong Xi Fa Cai, hope that yuo'll have good health and so on. On that day also, the child or the person havent yet get married will get a big red packet or the Chinese people call it angpow. On that day also, we cannot sweep the floor.
