The First Day Of Chinese New Year

On the first day of Chinese New Year, every people will wish the older people with auspicious greetings. For example Gong Xi Fa Cai, hope that yuo'll have good health and so on. On that day also, the child or the person havent yet get married will get a big red packet or the Chinese people call it angpow. On that day also, we cannot sweep the floor. It because it will bring bad luck.

Reunion Dinner

Every year on 30th Discember for Chinese lunar calendar, the Chinese people will celebrat the reunion dinner. It also called 'tuan nien', was significant for all those who were celebrating Chinese New Year because it was a time for everyone in the family to get together.

His majesty told the animals that the first twelve animals that successfully crossed the river would be chosen. In the race, all the animals gathered at the riverbank. When the race started, all the animals jumped into the river. All the animal tried their best to swim across the river. However, the cat and the rat were not good swimmers. So they asked the ox for help. The ox was very generous. He agreed to let a cat and a rat to ide on its back during the race. Out of a sudden, the rat pushed the cat into the river. The rat do that because he wanted to win but he realised that the cat would beat him because the cat could run faster. After that the rat sat next to the ox's ear throughout the course of the race. As soon as the ox reached the land, the rat quickly jumped to shore and won the race. The second animal win the race is.............
